INTRODUCTION
This guide describes the steps to assemble the Brickstuff light-up billboard base with large LED panel. Once built, you can add one of our printed signs (sold separately) to create a fun illuminated billboard. You can swap out the printed sign anytime, adding even more variety.
Your kit includes the following parts:
- 25 genuine LEGO® elements in new condition
- Six plastic tubes with slits (three are used to hold the printed sign in place-- we've included spares in case you need them)
- Two round sticky discs
ASSEMBLY
OK, let's get started! Here is a visual list of the LEGO® parts included with your kit. Before beginning assembly, make sure all parts are present.
Below are the visual assembly steps.
A note about attaching the sticky dots: the adhesive is VERY sticky, so you might want to wait to remove the top side adhesive cover for each dot until you insert the LED panel.
After you have assembled the frame, you will mount the light-up billboard panel. Carefully remove the panel from its plastic bag and follow the steps below.
Always be careful when handling the LED wires on the bottom of the panel-- they are fragile and can snap off if pulled too hard.
Remove the plastic film covering the front side of the panel.
As shown in the photo above, carefully pass the power wire for the panel through the gap in the center of the billboard frame.
Next, press one corner of the LED panel down into the notch formed by the panel bricks on the edge of the billboard. Then press the other corner of the panel into the other side of the billboard frame as shown below.

Your LED panel should now be sitting firmly inside the groove at the bottom of the billboard frame.
Now would be a good time to remove the top covering from both sticky discs and press the back of the LED panel into place as shown above.
INSERTING PRINTED SIGNS
After you have assembled the frame and mounted the LED panel, you can insert your printed sign by placing it in front of the LED panel as shown below, then pressing down into the groove so the sign is flush with the panel behind it.
Next, take one of the shorter plastic tubes, find the slit down the length of the tube, and carefully slide the tube over the sign and the LED frame as shown below.

Leave a small gap at the top of the sign as shown, to allow for sliding the longer tube across the top later.
Repeat this process for the other side, using a second short tube as shown below.
Next, carefully slide one of the longer tubes across the top of the sign as shown below.
Your printed sign should now be held firmly in place. Repeat this same process to switch signs whenever you want to.

We've included an extra set of tubes in case you lose some, or in case some become damaged. Hang onto these extra pieces!
RUNNING WIRES
Lastly, you'll carefully loop the power wires for the LED panel behind the billboard and secure them so the connections at the bottom of the LED panel don't get pulled and potentially damaged.
Carefully loop the power wires under the billboard and toward the back as shown in the photos above and below.
Without pulling too hard, wrap the power wires around the Technic axle once.
Make sure when you mount your billboard and connect it to power that you don't pull on the power wires, and also that the black heat shrink tube in the middle of the wire doesn't get pinched or pulled between or under bricks.
Congratulations! Your billboard assembly is complete. We hope these colorful signs add a fun touch to your city or display.
